In this workshop we address how educators and families can help ensure children’s safety as pedestrians, as passengers and at play. We look at why children are at risk in traffic, excursion management and safe supervision. We explore ways of integrating road safety education into your ongoing program in new and interesting ways.

Safe Travel and Excursions – Diploma

In this workshop we review the process of planning and conducting excursions for children’s services and address road safety issues that arise. 

Making Links – Tertiary  

In this workshop we look at the importance of road safety education in context. We discuss risks to children in the road traffic environment and the Key Road Safety Messages for adults to use with young children. We make practical links to the EYLF and PDHPE curriculum.
